About Us

A birthday party setup with Toy Story theme decorations.

The Norwood Elks Lodge on 152 Winslow Ave has earned its 4.4-star reputation the old-fashioned way: by showing up for the people who walk through its doors. A recent guest celebrated her 50th birthday here and walked away raving about the renovated space and the attentive staff. That kind of experience is not an accident.

The hall itself strikes a balance that is genuinely hard to find. Large enough to host a full wedding reception, yet intimate enough that guests never feel like they are rattling around in an empty ballroom. Two levels of parking, easy highway access, and a clean, well-maintained interior mean that logistics rarely become a headache for event organizers or their guests.

Beyond the event space, this is a working Elks Lodge, part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, one of America's oldest fraternal organizations. Members gather here to support veterans, fund local scholarships, and serve the Norwood community in ways that rarely make headlines but consistently make a difference.

What We Offer

The Lodge offers a fully renovated event hall that seats large parties comfortably without sacrificing the cozy atmosphere that makes celebrations feel personal. Whether you are planning a milestone birthday, a wedding reception, an anniversary dinner, or a corporate banquet, the space adapts to your vision.

Elks membership opens the door to a broader community: charitable programs, veterans outreach, youth initiatives, and regular social events that give members a reason to come back week after week. The Lodge also provides meeting space for local civic groups and organizations that share its commitment to community service.

Parking on both the lower and upper levels removes one of the most common friction points for large gatherings. The location just off the highway makes it accessible for guests coming from across Norfolk County and beyond.

"My type of place. Large enough to have a wedding reception, but not so large you feel lost in the place. I'd call it, just right. Clean, intimate, great parking on both lower and upper levels. Two ways into the place. People like me who are direction-challenged will find the place no matter what. I like the Winslow Avenue entrance the best. I attended a 40th wedding anniversary party, and it was wonderful. The dance floor can be seen by both sides of the room. There were wedding photos shown on a large screen of any of us who were brave enough to give the host a wedding picture. Ha! I had black hair then! Place is clean, bar is centrally located. Well lit and stocked from what I could tell."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
